Summary

Broke young man + chainsaw dog demon = Chainsaw Man！

Denji was a small-time devil hunter just trying to survive a harsh world。 After being killed on a job， Denji is revived by his pet devil-dog Pochita and becomes something new and dangerous—Chainsaw Man！

Chainsaw Man has escaped Makima’s attempts to control him so far， but she now reveals the full extent of her plans。 Denji will need the help of his remaining friends if he is to have any chance of topping Makima in their final confrontation！

i feel like i don’t have a good metric for this sort of thing because this was the second manga i’ve ever read， and the first shonen i’ve read but oh my god。 never has a piece of media made me feel every single emotion that it’s possible to make me feel。 like how did the last few volumes still make me laugh when everything was going to shit。

This was an enjoyable ride。 There were some chapters that were average but my enjoyment was still the same， and I kept pushing to see what the next chapter had to bring。 The build up of the story and the pace was great to witness。 It started off like a dumb dark joke but got serious as you kept reading。 The comedy was top notch， I laughd every time。 The relationship between the characters specially Power， Aki and Denji were not your average one but still heartwarming nonetheless。 I Definitely kn This was an enjoyable ride。 There were some chapters that were average but my enjoyment was still the same， and I kept pushing to see what the next chapter had to bring。 The build up of the story and the pace was great to witness。 It started off like a dumb dark joke but got serious as you kept reading。 The comedy was top notch， I laughd every time。 The relationship between the characters specially Power， Aki and Denji were not your average one but still heartwarming nonetheless。 I Definitely knew there were some characters I shouldn’t have gotten attached to but I just couldn’t help it。 Another thing I loved about this manga was the different takes， or different perspectives on your average everyday things， motivation， being different， different way to cope etc。。The villain’s designs went stupid！！ Some were freaky but still awesome nonetheless。 Overall I freaking enjoyed my time reading this 。。。more

overall， i'd say the whole series is a 3/5。 i looooved the premise of this and while the characters themselves are questionable （mostly though bc of upbringing and setting anyway， and it could have been way more developed to give them the proper background）， the relationship between them is really great and what i loved the most about this whole thing。 power and denji are dumb and dumber and power is best girl。 character design is a 10/10 and the art is really unique and amazing。the pacing howev overall， i'd say the whole series is a 3/5。 i looooved the premise of this and while the characters themselves are questionable （mostly though bc of upbringing and setting anyway， and it could have been way more developed to give them the proper background）， the relationship between them is really great and what i loved the most about this whole thing。 power and denji are dumb and dumber and power is best girl。 character design is a 10/10 and the art is really unique and amazing。the pacing however is disastrous and i feel like so many aspects of the world-building and story could have been given more attention and care， so that the whole thing could have shone through。 i am really curious to see how this will be put into the anime without leaving the audience confused af *shrug* 。。。more

Me gustó más la historia al principio， luego se me hizo un poco repetitiva， había partes que no estaban muy bien explicadas y me fue un poco engorroso seguir la trama。 Pero el final de este tomo me ha parecido curioso y no me lo esperaba para nada。 Si este es el fin del primer arco del manga no creo que me lea la continuación， la verdad。

Siamo giunti alla conclusione di questo strano， e decisamente folle， viaggio。 Ammetto di aver provato sensazioni contrastanti tra i vari capitoli ed i vari volumi che compongono Chainsaw Man e non riesco a giudicarla un opera che supera la sufficienza。Alcune trovate dell'autore sono state a dir poco geniali， cosi come il design di alcuni personaggi ed alcune loro stranezze， ma in linea di massima nulla di cosi strutturato e profondo da far gridare al miracolo。 Makima e Denji rimangono i due pers Siamo giunti alla conclusione di questo strano， e decisamente folle， viaggio。 Ammetto di aver provato sensazioni contrastanti tra i vari capitoli ed i vari volumi che compongono Chainsaw Man e non riesco a giudicarla un opera che supera la sufficienza。Alcune trovate dell'autore sono state a dir poco geniali， cosi come il design di alcuni personaggi ed alcune loro stranezze， ma in linea di massima nulla di cosi strutturato e profondo da far gridare al miracolo。 Makima e Denji rimangono i due personaggi più emblematici della serie， ma per quanto ci sia una parvenza di approfondimento， sembra sempre che non si voglia entrare troppo nello specifico della loro psiche o della loro caratterizzazione。Per me rimane un buon fumetto da leggere per staccare la mente e vivere un avventura folle e fuori dagli schemi， con qualche risata， molta violenza e siparietti sexy。。ma nulla di più。 。。。more
